 Text [very neat!] reads: "Examples of different hair colours. Red melanin is responsible for red and auburn hair. Black melanin for all other colours. Melanin is produced by cells called melanocytes at the base of the hair follicle. Under a microscope a cross section of a hair looks very much like the cross section of a tree."
